Alice Coote

Mezzo-soprano Alice Coote has performed for the Metropolitan Opera, Glyndebourne Festival, Royal Opera House, Bayerische Staatsoper, Paris Opera, Vienna State Opera, Los Angeles Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago. In concert, she has performed with London Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Hallé and The Concertgebouw. Recent engagements include Madame de Croissy in Dialogues des Carmélites (Metropolitan Opera), Mère Marie in Dialogues des Carmélites (Zurich Opera), the title role of Agrippina (Staatsoper Hamburg), Cassandra in Les Troyens (BBC Proms), Shéhérazade (Sinfonia of London), The Dream of Gerontius (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra), Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde (Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia). 24/25 season highlights include: Dorabella in Così fan tutte (Philharmonie Luxembourg) and Juno in Semele (Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Royal Opera), as well as recitals at Wigmore Hall.
